Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using CertifyAI (certifyai.life), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

CertifyAI provides AI-powered skill assessments and issues digital certificates upon successful completion. Certificates confirm that a holder achieved a passing score on a specific assessment on a specific date — they do not constitute professional licensure, academic degrees, or legal qualifications.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to retake tests is prohibited.

4. Exam Rules & Academic Integrity

• Exams must be completed independently. Sharing questions or answers with others is prohibited.
• You may not use AI assistance, unauthorized references, or other tools during an exam unless explicitly permitted.
• Attempting to manipulate exam scores, forge certificates, or exploit platform vulnerabilities will result in immediate account termination and certificate revocation.
• We reserve the right to audit results and revoke certificates if fraud is detected.

5. Payments & Refunds

• Certificates are issued for a one-time fee of $19 USD per certificate.
• Practice/sample tests are free and do not issue certificates.
• Refund policy: Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if a certificate has not been downloaded or shared. Contact hello@certifyai.life.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, PayPal, or USDT (TRC20). We do not store card details.
• Prices may change. Existing certificates remain valid regardless of price changes.

6. Certificates

• Certificates are issued in your name as provided at the time of purchase.
• Certificate codes are publicly verifiable at certifyai.life.
• We may revoke a certificate if the holder's exam integrity is found to be compromised.
• Certificates do not expire, but the knowledge domain may change over time. We recommend retaking assessments periodically.

7. For Companies & Education Institutions

• Company and education accounts must represent a real organization.
• Assessment results of candidates are shared with the company/institution that invited them.
• Companies may not use candidate data for purposes other than employment evaluation.
• Subscription fees and per-assessment fees are billed as agreed at signup.

8. Intellectual Property

• All exam questions, platform code, and content are owned by CertifyAI.
• You may share your certificate image and verification link. You may not reproduce or sell exam questions.
• Your submitted answers and scores are used solely to generate your result and improve question quality.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the platform.
• Impersonate another person or organization.
• Use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Circumvent payment requirements to obtain certificates.
• Publicly share or distribute exam questions.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that certificates will be accepted by any employer, institution, or regulatory body. Assessment results reflect performance on our platform only.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertifyAI's total liability for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant certificate. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Paid certificates remain verifiable after account deletion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CertifyAI operates. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the applicable courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users by email for material changes.
